Because .Webs .tk .dot .eth .ili .lil .co .ck .uk
I don't want any of these.
I'm asking for .Com or .Net.

last year was way that there was hack low budge .com domains and you could use it for free but Now I think company got sued.. trying using Google and search it or just pay $2 for godaddy

You can do those referral sites or get like 500-1000 posts on a forum and they buy you one. It's better just buying one.

$2? GoDaddy is at least $9. They have specials, but that's only if you buy hosting along with the domain; so overall you're paying more. The best you'll find is maybe $7 or so, but let us know if you find a good deal anywhere that doesn't require doing something stupid to get it.

And to answer the original question, no, you can't get .com or .net domains for free.

yer go to microsoft office online and create an account for the free package and they give you a free domain of your choice Smile i got a .com for free with them. they do require a credit card number when you sign up but that is only incase you want to upgrade to a paid account and they do not charge you at all :P i used my dads Happy

Simple. If someone wants a site domain, and someone else also wants it, how are you going to resolve the issue? Make em' pay and see who's willing to pay more.

Now they just started getting greedy and are asking everyone to pay >.<
