It will be able to play them, but it would most likely be on the lowest settings/resolution. Your Gpu (Nvidia GeForce 320m) is mid-end, but the main killer is the CPU, which can only be clocked up to 1.6ghz which is extremely slow for today's standards. I would recommend looking for a CPU that's at least clocked to 2GHZ.

Your specs are fairly good for video/audio editing/rendering though. Keep in mind the MacBook Air is made for style & looks not for performance. I would look at a MacBook Pro if I were you.
