(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok guys I'm looking for a new laptop so what do you guys like? I like the MacBook's but they are so expensive for the stuff that comes in it. What do you guys think I should get.

I have had both windows 7 and Mac Snow Lepoard, and personally I think Mac is a much better operating system the way it works and everything, also with a Mac if you want you can have Snow Lepoard and Windows 7 on your Mac so you can have the best of both worlds at once. Now on to the hard ware, well overall they might not have the best hard ware including graphics card, speakers, etc. but overall it's good the screen resolution and the quality of the screen is amazing, also the graphics card, memory, and speed is pretty good maybe not the best but if your not into heavy PC gaming or anything like that there great overall computers. Some people say there over priced but say your buying a macbook pro for 1199$ any you might spend 900$ on a HP I think being able to have both operating systems, a wonderful screen and good all around is worth it. I'm not a Mac fanboy thats just my overall favorite, I'm using a iMac 21.5 inch right now with a upgraded graphics card and 1TB memory. Thats just my opinion so don't flame me for it.

I've only had two laptops first was a HP and it was pretty shit my curent one is a Sony Vaio brilliant laptop and never failed me. My sister has a mac book and my father has a mac book pro which they both like although my father was kinda reluctant to switch from windows to OS X but he prefers it now so yer either way windows and OS X are good but choose a decent laptop and don't go for something cheap, which obviously isn't an option with apple.

I used to hate macs because I thought they were shit. I grew up with windows and just last year I bought a macbook for the first time ever. I never used one before and well out of all the laptops I have bought, this macbook is the best. The battery life is just amazing. The trackpad kicks ass, I love how it only opens what you tell it to open, it's super simple, and you can basically customize ANYTHING. A macbook costs only 999.99 and seriously that's the best 1,000 dollars I have ever spent. Go with a macbook. If you have never used one before, visit an apple store, they teach you how to use them and all the features it has.

Only problem I have encountered is that there are a few .exe programs I used that were only made for windows and to open them, you have to install some other shit that has windows running in the background and well I didn't want to go through the trouble lol

Alright you guys sold me i'm gonna go to the apple store and see which Mac I like better.

The only thing I hate about it is, most programs & software don't work for mac. :mad:

I would still go with a Macbook though.

I have not encountered a major program I couldn't find for a mac. In fact, I found some programs that were just amazing for mac such as ScreenFlow, iFlip and FaceTime. The only programs I couldn't find were those made by people such as farmville bots lol but besides that I always found a version for mac and as for my printer, I didn't even need to install anything, it found it wirelessly for me and saved it automatically, kicks ass

Mac's are simple.

Windows are a bit more complicated.

Some programs in the app store are great too.

My major encounter with the Macbook is it does not support a HD PVR. That is all. Seriously, that was major disappointment. :confused:

Overall, the Macbook does kick ass.
