my choices are a comp with 3gb ram and a i5 processor
or
a comp with 4gb ram and a i3 processor

which is going to make the computer more faster and run better, faster processor or more ram ?

get the i5 and add more ram by yourself

long story short, the best processor you got the most processes you can handle and makes about every thing faster

It increases the computer's processing power with anything on it.

If you get the i5, you won't be able to upgrade your ram. Does it say what bit the OS is?
