How can I get the official ps3 mic bluetooth to work on a windows xp pc on sp3?

Not to be overly blunt, but does your system even have a bluetooth dongle? Also, the device is Bluetooth 2.0 compliant. I don't think XP SP3 has 2.0 support for bluetooth. Otherwise it should work with current OS bt detection.
I'd investigate both of those things.
