i currently do not have my laptop
i am stuck with the laptops our school gives us, and they can run .jar games (for example, minecraft works)

What do you mean? They should run perfectly fine if you have java installed.

Just install java and run it then...

I mean that.
my school laptop needs and administrators password for .apps which majority of emulators are, although if a game is a .jar or .class etc. it will run with java that is installed into my computer.

If you have time, try installing windows XP on bootcamp, that way you should have full access in XP so you can do whatever you want. :y:
