Post: Good and cheap gaming computer build?
03-29-2011, 02:40 AM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I have decided to make my custom computer and have a budget of around $500. Could anyone recommend the components of a budget gaming computer build? (MotherBoard, memory, hard drive, power supply, graphics card, sound card, CPU, DVD burner, and at the case). Will give +rep and all my vBux if someone helps me! =D
Please quote me back. And please add anything else necessary for the PC build when replying on this thread too.

No way you can get a top level(Not even a average) gaming computer for 500. I suggest saving up more money.

But sadly I am on a low budget, and yes you actually can make one for around $500. Just not sure what components to buy.

Actually you can get a high end PC for about 800, so if you go cheap on some parts, you can easily build a decent one for 500

Honestly, its hard to build a good gaming PC for under $500. But, here's what i came up with.

Case: You must login or register to view this content.

Motherboard: You must login or register to view this content.

Processor: You must login or register to view this content.

RAM: You must login or register to view this content.

Graphics: You must login or register to view this content.

Power Supply: You must login or register to view this content.

Hard Drive: You must login or register to view this content.

Cheap-o disk drive: You must login or register to view this content.

Aftermarket CPU fan: You must login or register to view this content.

The total comes to about $503, and trust me, you do need the aftermarket CPU fan. I chose AMD, because you have a low budget, but, they don't last long because they run hot, so that's why you need an aftermarket CPU fan. Oh, you don't need a sound card unless your going to be editing sound or something. Edit: i seen some bad reviews and stuff for the motherboard i chose. So i chose a different one. Its price is slightly higher, but overall, everything should stull be around $500-$550 :y:
