Did this on mine yesterday its simple been playing San Andreas on it perfectly!
1) Download and extract the PS3 Dualshock drivers:
You must login or register to view this content.
2) Connect your PS3 controller to your laptop/pc using USB cable that you use to charge it on your PS3
3) On your computer Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Device Manager -> Human Interface Drivers
4) Now you have to find where the PS3 controller is connected. Double click on first 'USB Human Interface Device'.
5) Open the '
etails' Tab and select '
evice Instance Path' under Property
If You see this line USB\VID_054C&PID_0268\5&2C29B42F&0&1 go to next step otherwise repeat step 4 with next 'USB Human Interface Device'.
6) Select '
river' tab and click 'Update Driver'
7) Select 'Browse my computer for driver software'
Select 'Let me pick from a list ...'
9) Click 'Have Disk'
10) Click 'Browse...' and select dualshock3.inf or if your drivers been renamed the one that starts dualshock most likely xD
11) Select 'Install this driver software anyway'
12) After Driver installation you have to Calibrate PS3 controller. Go to Control Panel -> Game Controllers -> Properties -> Settings -> Calibrate.
DON'T FORGET TO PRESS PS BUTTON on PS3 controller
13) Obviusly if your using it for a game map the buttons to your controller accordingly.
