Post: Windows Loop Problem / Freeze

Maggbot timeout!
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have just installed Windows Vista and i get stuck at a screen saying "Please wait while windows sets up your computer" it will not go away. it has not frozen because there are 3 moving dots. But nothing is happening. It just stays there :(

Any help. Offering VBUX + Rep

Tutorial Team Like A Boss
Reinstall Windows Vista, if it was a downloaded copy, re-burn it at a slower speed and install it again.

just since i reinstalled a Genuine Vista Installation Disk.

Hey I think I may know the solution.
Do you have your Windows Vista DVD/CD with you?
If so,then try reinstalling it. Like reinstall Windows Vista.
If that doesn't work,then you may have to get a new hard drive.

30 minutes and no progress. My friend said his was done in 5 to 10

Give it another 30mins. This happened to me when I bought my new hard drive. It got stuck and I let it sit a bit longer and then it finally got unstuck.

lol... my other laptop has been sitting for bout 2 & a half hours and my neigbour says it's stuck :/ i tried reinstalling and it's stuck at expanding files.. 0% GRRR >:( update: i was being impatient. i will combine the whole thread and make this conclusion.

Be PATIENT and wait at least 12 hours. Thanks Guys Anyway Happy
