(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Okay I have an old Pc that I want to put Linux on. It is currently running a pirated version of XP. What is the best version of Linux for me to use? And if you don't mind, could you post a tutorial video? Thank in advance

You must login or register to view this content.

All you have to do is download the ISO, burn it to a CD/DVD then put it in the old PC then it should boot using the CD/dvd then just install it.

I highly suggest not doing that, or at least get a lower version than Ubuntu 11.04, 11.04 uses the GNOME3 desktop environment which is very, very power hungry, and runs laggy on a PC of mine with a dual core processor and 4 gigs of ram.

Okay thanks! I already downloaded 11.04, and am currently installing it. If it runs laggy as you said, I will try Xubuntu. Thanks for the tip!
