i dont know much about this but i really want a desktop .. will it still run minecraft smoothly and let me record my ps3 gameplay via dazzle/HDpvr.

also i will +rep people and thanks if they can link me to a desktop with good specs for under £250 / $405

the only problem with the desktop that you're thinking of getting is that It only has like 1gb of RAM and minecraft really needs atleast 2gb of RAM

That desktop is only 15 pound more expensive then the one you posted, unless you don't want an OS in which case you won't be able to run any of the things you want.
I'd reccomend you save up more and get a desktop around 500 or 600 pounds, that way you can get a good one and in a few years time.

that has got to be one of the worst desktop i seen (specs wise)

single core ddr2 and a 2001 integrated video card.

i bought a laptop at $250 form bestbuy with a 2GBDDR3 Windows 7 and an HD4250 it can run mw2 and bllackops at low to medium specs.
