Post: What's the Best/Cheapest Netbook?
06-15-2009, 08:39 PM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm looking to buy a netbook or cheap laptop, and I really have no idea where to buy the cheapest ones. I'm primarily going to be using it for school, to make a song using a program, so I need enough memory to have several programs on it, but I don't need a ton. Do any of you guys know what laptop or netbook is the cheapest, but still is good quality, or where to buy them for good prices? Thanks!

I would go with a Compaq. LMAO. I forget the actually name I just remember the brand. It is a really nice laptop with some good space and it has either Vista Home Basic or Vista Premium. I have one and so does my brother and they are really nice and cost about 500 USD if not less.

Here is one. Not sure it is the exact because I know they have Wide Screen ones and then not wide screen Happy. But I am pretty sure this is the one and if not..It will still be good.

Ok, I'll look it up. My mom bought a netbook for herself this morning that was $175, but they're all sold out now. I'm looking for something around $200-$325, because I don't need it to be an amazing quality

Trolling is a art
You do know that programs wise if you donate to NGU you can get access to tons of downloadable programs for free...

Same one as I posted before except less space and a smaller spice. It is only about $24.99 more than you are looking for so I think it is good. If you mom bought one for $150 or how ever much she bought it for, it is either a mini pocket one Happy, or it won't last long has has minimal space.

She bought it on a website called woot.com that has refurbished electronics for really cheap

Ah I am not to comfortable with "refurbished" because they still have a lot of flaws to then and break even easier than just buying a brand new cheap 9" by 9" laptop.

Yeah, i don't usually like to buy things that have been "refurbished" but we (my family) have bought several things on woot.com, such as an ipod nano, an ipod video, and a sansa mp3, and they are all working fine so far

Hi

Pretty much all netbooks on the market will fit into your specifications. I'd recommend an Acer Aspire One. The Aspire One comes in a variety of colours including pink. If you get the model with the solid state drive (SSD) it will use less power than a conventional hard drive and extend battery life.

Thanks
