HOIC isnt a DDoS Tool, this is a multiple DoS tool, to attack multiple sites at once, this is only useful for attacking servers not a person IP.



Well to start, im not sure how you go about getting a single players IP address, im sure you will need access to the server, but giving most these servers are a simple .exe console script you will probably have to infect the person hosting the server with a RAT and monitor active connections. You will probably need a few people to flood it at once.

Definitions:

DoS: Denial Of Service, a single active connection flooding or spam requesting to use as much of the servers bandwidth of possible, (a DoS attack is quite weak, you need hundreds of DoS'in pcs to affect a server, or 10 to affect someones IP)

DDoS: Distributed Denial Of Service: a DDoS Attack usually consists of a botnet being used to DoS a network/server. a botnet is a set of infected PCs (Virus) useally 2000-20,000 PCs all used to DoS at once.
