(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys, my internet for the past 3-4 days has been disconnecting and reconnecting every 10-15 mins. Sometimes it will be working with no problems for an hour or so but then it will start messing up again. Anyone know what might be causing this to happen? Cables or the modem or something? Please help if you know.

Does your router or modem turn off when the internet goes out?

Do you use a router, if so, wireless or wired?

Do some of the lights on the modem or router go off when the internet goes out?

You running ADSL? I used to get the same issue but an engineer came to separate the line so theres no need for a filter for my DSL line + Phone.

the Lights on the modem where is says internet will start flashing Red, then it will stay red for about 5-10 mins then it will reconnect.

If all of your cables are plugged in tight, and you still get these problems, it might be a problem with the modem. Only way to tell for sure is to call your ISP. I would call them and describe the problems you are having and they should be able to fix it.
