Post: Can I empty contents of a disc?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I was wondering, could I empty the disc? It's a DVD-R disc that had a movie copied on it, I need to get rid of the contents. Any way to rid it of said contents?

Only way to delete contents of a disc is if the disc is a "RW". If it is what you said a DVD-R (DVD-Rightable) then you can't erase the disc. It would have to be a DVD-RW (DVD-ReWritable).
