Can you explain more? Like what are you doing exactly? What are you partitioning with/for?

I'm trying to create a new partition to install Windows 7, but when I'm in Disk Management, the C: drive doesn't appear.. If that makes sense..

Maybe you have no space for another partition. Why not run a virtual machine using an external drive?

That is odd. I have had that happen but it was Linux that didn't see it.

Only thing I can think of is one of two things. Bios settings (Which I very seriously doubt it is that).
The other thing is maybe you have a computer with a 6GBs sata port. If you do, and your drive is plugged into that, it can cause troubles if drivers isn't installed.

So maybe check what port your drive is plugged into, and make sure it is a standard sata port and not a 6Gb one.
