My budget is ~1,000$ give or take 100$

Highest end gaming to max out Battlefield 3, Skyrim, and Modern warfare 3 and all older games excluding the Crysis games.

Resolution would be 1920x1080

I am told the Intel i5 2500K is the best processor for what I want.

Also told the GeForce GTX 580 Video Card or the GeForce GTX 580 Ti Video Card

I don't know the difference.


I prefer 2x4GB sticks of DDR3 in a Dual Channel Motherboard

I need someone that will stick by me in some type of IM service and answer all my questions and recommend build choices and variations.

Anyone here up for it?

That's a couple 100$ more than if I were to select those parts and build it myself.

The 580 is way too expensive, you should get a crossfire 6950(2 x 6950), it's better then the 580 and 100 bucks cheaper.
