Worth the Weight
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys. I had recently made a thread comparing an Alienware Desktop to an iMac. I found the iMac pointlessly large and the lack of an HDMI port made me sick. So I decided that the investment of a powerhouse desktop PC for editing and Gaming would go to Dell. ( I decided Alienwares were too expensive and unnecessary)

But now I'm entering annother year of school, and I'm in need of a laptop. I looked at the Macbook Air and found it ridiculously overpriced for what it had to offer. Then I looked at the Regular Macbook and found it a little better, but I need at least a 15" screen. So then I looked at the Macbook Pro's.

Here's what I found:

So I looked and I saw that there was a 1GB video card option. Now I WILL be using this to play Cod 4 perhaps, and I will be playing Minecraft and games like that. I will be doing some video editing and I really need an on the go laptop that works fast without any let downs.

But then I saw Dell XPS 15".

I don't have a picture but here are the specs:

2GB Video Card

750 GB Hard Drive

8GB DDR3 Dual channel momory

Windows 7 Ultimate

The total to this laptop is around $1300

The total for the Macbook Pro is around $2300

That's an extra $1000!!!!11

Is the performance of a Mac worth $1000??
