Post: Recording CoD 4 @ 120 Fps

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey so I'm basically just wandering how to record PC games (CoD 4 in this case) at 120 fps.
This is how I do it:
Record demos, open them, add Cfgs etc.,put the timescale to 0.25 and record them with Fraps at 30 fps, but I suppose I could get 40 or 50, than add the recorded clip to After Effects, put the timescale to 25 (so it's normal speed), render out and tada, should be 120 fps right? But I just don't see a differece :/
How is it that people do it, I'm sure not everyone has PCs that could record at 100fps or more, so yeah, could someone please tell me what to do, or what I'm doing wrong? :happycry:

Also if this makes a difference I play and record at 1280x1024 at full settings and these are my PC specs:
HD 6770
Phenom II X6 1055T
8Gb Ram

well idc if you spent 50 million dollar on your computer. at 120fps it cannot be done with a program. what i do is record with the ingame recorder then view with cod4player. When in cod4player run fraps to record that.

If you're putting the timescale to .25, make sure you record at .25 the frame rate you want.

Yep thats what I do, timescale .25, record at 30fps with fraps, add the recorded clip to AAF, put the timescale there to 25, that makes it 4 times faster, so normal speed, then I render it out at 30 fps. When I try rendering at 120fps it just messes up :/
Help?

open your file in cod4player and record using /avidemo 120(or more)....
dont render in 120 fps, render in 29.97 or 59.97(29.97 is better for youtube)
