If you want to create your own version of Call of Duty, give up now, right now.

If you want to create a mod, tool, or program that is related to Call of Duty, then you need to learn programming. Programming is not something that can be learnt in a day, it'll take at least a month or two to become competent enough to build truly useful applications, and possibly 2+ years to be building any truly large, powerful programs (like Call of Duty). I'd suggest you start by looking into the programming languages of Java and/or C#, they're useful programming languages that are great for beginners.

Yep, but the thing about the 2 months is that you practice everyday or keep up with learning. If you are taking it slow, expect over the course of a few months to build anything decent.

Yes, thank you for the clarification.

Programming is no easy business, fun and rewarding, but requires work and time as well.

Learn to program, not just for gaming, you might find it rewarding. Also one idea you might want to try make some maps for the game. There is always a need for new maps, and locals, experiment with whatever you like. Never know what you can do til you try. Good luck. Smile

Learn to hack first. Learn how to mod eboots and find exploits. Then learn a language that simplifies making mods for you.

Yep, I'm starting to get too busy now to do it though. Getting a job hopefully soon, school and crap, and if by luck the girl I like says yes when I ask her out then essentially, NGU will become a fraction of my day.

I will of course though, still complete my calculator, although I keep fudging up.

May need your help if I can't figure it out. First time actually working with numbers on C#. (Well that is Mutipling, dividing)
