(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I've got some MKV files that I want to change the resolution of just by a little so it becomes full screen. I'm sure it can be done without ruining the video quality but not sure what program I might be able to use? Any suggestions please? Greatly appreciated. I'm in no rush to get this done though.

Never heard of a MKV file but you can probably take it through programs like Sony Vegas and render it again.

MKV is like for high quality vids i think haha. When its like 720p n stuff. Matroska gives good quality and very small size.
I was thinking of Vegas or a similar program. Do they even take in MKV and spit it out? All i really want is to change the resolution.

To be honest, I don't know a whole lot about this stuff, but here are a few links you may find helpful:

Personally, I'd look into You must login or register to view this content. the most, only because its the only thing I'm somewhat familiar with.

Just out of curiosity, why do you need to change the resolution? I've heard rumors that if you change the resolutions on MKV video files that they can become pixelated and start to freeze up (though I have no idea if such rumors are true).

Thanks for the links. I'll take a look at each one of them and see what I can do with them.

I wanna change the resolution so it becomes full-screen on the tv without having to zoom-in. Its current resolution is 1280x528 but if it were 1280x720 it should be full-screen.
If thats true, then I might have a solution. I convert the MKV's to MPG's to view them on my Ps3. Would it be better chance to try to change it on the MPG file instead of the MKV?

OVER 9000!
Use You must login or register to view this content. to extract the sound, video (and subtitles if there is any)

Then use You must login or register to view this content. on all the files (including upscaling the video) back into a .MKV (Or whatever container you're using).
