This comes to a total of around £387, so if you have any recommendations for parts bare in mind I can't really go higher than £400 :p

Also, what would be a decent affordable card to crossfire ? :p

I could get a 750, but if I did that I would either have to up my budget or get a cheap make (which I don't like the idea of with all this expensive shit :p)

If you short change yourself in certain areas now, they will enevitably cost you more in the long run. For example, you mention a crossfire setup, those require quite a bit of power, 750w would be on the low side for that kind of setup. Also, a cheap power supply can ruin your entire setup with a short. Heres the areas you do not want to skimp in : power supply, motherboard, cpu and cpu cooler, gpu. Very important components, if necessary, spend more on just those pieces now, then wait on the other peripherals later, such as opt. drive, hdd, ssd, case, fans, etc. Buy a quality brand psu, like corsair, xfx, seasonic as well. Same with your motherboard, everything goes through that. The more you invest in the motherboard, the more features you will have, including speed and performance.

Visit tomshardware.com to review what the best gfx cards are at the time, as that can change with new releases and what not. Heres the latest list they have for best gfx cards for the money in the month of September 2011 You must login or register to view this content.
