Here is probably the easiest Linux to install. Just download and install it, then it should ask you to reboot then select Ubuntu instead of your regular OS. You must login or register to view this content.

I can help you....

What distribution of Linux do you want to install? Here's a few popular ones: You must login or register to view this content., You must login or register to view this content., You must login or register to view this content., You must login or register to view this content., You must login or register to view this content., You must login or register to view this content., You must login or register to view this content., You must login or register to view this content., You must login or register to view this content., You must login or register to view this content., and You must login or register to view this content.
Or perhaps you would prefer a BSD based operating system? Such as You must login or register to view this content., You must login or register to view this content., or You must login or register to view this content.....

How do you want to install it? Do you want to install it to a new computer? Overwrite Windows or another OS? Install it to a virtual machine (leaving everything intact)? Or simply install alongside Windows? Or would you like to install it as a LiveCD?

If you have no idea what distribution you want to install, or you have no idea what a distribution is, you should read You must login or register to view this content. and You must login or register to view this content.. Then, you should select a distribution, I'd encourage you to read You must login or register to view this content. and You must login or register to view this content.. My favorite distros (distributions) are Linux Mint, Debian, and Gentoo (but that's just my opinion).

After that, you'll need to select a method of install. In essence, are you planning on solely running Linux, thus wiping out all data currently stored on your computer (including your current operating system, and all files on it)? Or would you rather run it alongside your operating system, and therefore not lose your current operating system, or any data currently on your computer?
