(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi everyone! I've been browsing the internet and stumbled on this site. I am worried that is some one is trying to hack my account in yahoo and gmail. Every time I open my yahoo account I've been asked to change my password (which happened for 3 consecutive days) because someone is trying to open it. And it also happened in my gmail account just a while ago. Gmail notified me the person's IP address and the location of the person who is trying open my account. Is there any possible way I could Identify the person through his/her IP address? Perhaps I could manage to counterhack? I just wanted to know who is the person making fun of me. thank you

You need to keep you account password changed ever so often. Make sure your password consists of uppercase, lower case, and numbers to get a strong password. You can report the IP Address to your local authorities and this is what Google recommends you do, honestly they probably wont do anything about it. So the most you can do is keep changing your IP and if he is still bothering you, change your email address. Google has the ability to find people that are trying to brute force peoples accounts.

As long as you keep changing your password very often, I don't think it would really be a huge problem. Also make sure to keep your security questions secure because they would be one of your last resources if the 'hacker' manages to do his job.
