• Takes in the names and marks out of 100 for 10 pupils
  
• Displays the names and marks
  
• counts up how many pass (the pass mark is 50)
  
• Displays the number of passes
  

I am using Visual Basic Express 2010

Never used visual basic, but I did what you needed in C++ with comments on each line of code for you to understand the concepts. Super easy to translate it to another language.
