(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Okay, about half a year ago I started with C and I wasn't sure whether to pick off where I finished or start with another language? HELP MEH PL0X

I would definitely start off with either C++ or Java, as they are the two basic languages in the industry today. Both can be quite boring at times (and tedious) but it makes learning the cooler languages much easier once you understand the basics :happyguy:

RIP PICHU.
C, Python, C++, Java, VB.NET are general standards in industry. If you learn VB.NET you should also learn the syntax of C#. The two go hand in hand with one another.

If you go to work at Google, they require you to know C, Python, and C++.

Microsoft requires, C, C++ and Assembly.

I agree with this person here. Although, if I were to go work at google, i would learn Go. Nevermind, I hate Go, never going back.

I was just making a reference to the language that google made. Not that great in my opinion. Almost as bad as Lisp.

Lol, at least they made something... considering there is several thousand different languages... and only a few of those thousands are actually used in industry today.. or even by hobbyists...
