Post: iOS Programming Question

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I am VERY new to programming but it's always something I find fascinating. I want to learn how to program iPhone apps, specifically games. Can someone here give me some starting tips as to what language I need to learn and just give me general information like that. Also if anyone has some spare time and wouldn't mind getting on Skype and working together to help me learn. Thanks! +Rep for all help.

No haha. I haven't gotten into iOS development yet. I am currently only familiar with C#, Java, and C.

Its actually Objective C but there are many apps developed in other languages. There is also an SDK to develop iOS games in Visual Studio using C++. The game 'TinyWings' was developed in Visual Studio.

Those cost quite a bit of money if I'm not mistaken. You must login or register to view this content.

Xamarin costs $1000 to develop your apps in Visual Studio. My advice is to just learn Objective-C (unless you're hardcore into C# and really serious). You get the satisfaction of learning something new! Smile
