Install Windows 7 on a USB then restart your computer, disable safe boot, turn off your PC and plug the USB in, and install your OS over Windows 8. Don't do this unless you know what I'm talking about and I take no responsibility if you mess your computer up.

Ah if you said it was windows 7 installed instead of 8 I would've known and told how to reverse the upgrade

It should, but if I was you I wouldn't risk it. On a laptop you can miss several drivers (wifi, touchpad and others...)
If your PC was originally made for Windows 8, you might loose these drivers...
