Post: How to capture files that are streaming to a program?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I apologize in advance if this is the wrong section to ask this question. please move to appropriate section if it is.

Scenario:

A paid program that loads and streams a certain configuration file from their servers. It does not download the file and save it inside a folder. It streams and directly loads into the program without actually saving it on my physical computer

Question:

How would i be able to "capture/download/intercept" that file? Or better, how can I do this for any file that is being streamed to that program from their server?

You would always use wireshark to watch the network as you use the program.

I am a noob. But how would i use wireshark to get the file that is being streamed? Like, it is a .xml file.
