(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I would like to be able to make my own mod tools and menus and learn more about computers and technology.... I don't really know anything about coding but I want to learn. I would like to know what I should learn, C++ or C#. if both, which one first. I also was wondering how/where I should learn it? I wouldn't mind even paying a little bit for something that teaches you, as long as it actually works and almost anyone can learn from it. What should I start to code first if I try? a menu or a RTM tool?. Someone on PS3 said I should learn with CFG menus from mw2 as they are in C++. Sorry I asked like 30 questions in 1. I just cant get really anyone to help me with learning C++ programming.

that is ok but if you are new to coding dont start with object oriented languages ! they are abstract and are bad for learning in the long run ! start with a language like C for example there are no objects ! once you master C in about a decade you can get to C++ which wil take very long to master ! but C will run on everything so it is good to start with and itis blazing fast !

Java is a fairly easy OO language.

Simple: Go with whichever language motivates you and appeals to you the most. There is no right or wrong language to begin with. In fact, if you learn a language at all, that is a huge step. Personally I would start with C/C++ if possible because if you can handle either of those (especially C++), then programming will be a total breeze for you down the line. You will most likely have to learn one or the other at some point anyways if you decide to take a computer science path. But again, if C++ makes you wanna puke, then don't do it. If you get happy in your pants when you think about Java, then learn Java (jk but not really Happy )

I just want to be able to make mods, and then maybe make other stuff and expand my knowledge in coding. But I dont know where to start. I want to learn c++ because that what mods are coded in. If I learn C first, will that help me with C++ or if I learn C#?

There is no point in learning C if what you want is C++. I don't think it will help you any more than if you started with C++. When it comes down to C++ vs C#, however, that is your call. They are both great languages. C++ is more powerful but C# is much easier.
