(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys I want to start learning HTML and CSS to make some really good looking website designs (I'm actually a designer) but I don't know where to start ! :(

I think adobe dreamweaver or adobe Muse can help with this ! But I dont Know !

Is there any IDE that supports HTML and CSS webdesign ?

A lot of people recommend CodeAcademy, click You must login or register to view this content.. This would just be for understanding and getting the basics then yeah you could move on to DreamWeaver.

Don't use an IDE use a notepad type software such as notepad++ or sublime text editor.
There is no need for you to require an IDE.

As remy above said start at code academy or just google how to make simple stuff also squid made some dank tutorials in the learning center section You must login or register to view this content.

What I meant by IDE is that I can preview my design ! But I will take your suggestion into consideration !

You'll be able to view your design and test functionality on your localhost (personal computer).

Honestly mate, Notepad ++ is perfect.
Use wamp server to run a localhost. You can work on your site without an internet connection. Great for when you're out and about :-)

IDE is used for compiling, & html is a markup language not a programming language, so it really dont need compiling, just use a simple text editor like others said, i like sublime text :p

I've moved this over to inquiries for you. Also I'd suggest against dreamweaver I tried it personally and found it terrible, if you want to become proficient with html and css, don't use a designer, code it all by hand, just use a programmers notepad like sublime text or notepad++.
