(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi im new to making my own mods, i have download all the tool and watched a few videos but i'm not sure on what functions to search for im trying to mod nhl legacy what would i search for if i want to unlock all. Now most the video i see are for call of duty or gta so im not sure what to look for in hockey i could use a little help please. Like i dont understand the functions the one video i watched buddy searched for weapon_% and it was something to do with g_spawn he never really explained him self good or what it was he was trying to do only on how to find it. so can someone maybe explain that to me or even link me a really really good tutorial on how to find offsets and use ida pro, im not sure what to seach for like i dont understand these funtions i tried to look slapshot_% and nothing i put slapshoot in but there are like two or three of them right there that i can see and who know how many more i cant see. i just need a little help on what functions to search for like unlock all slap shoot power and accuracy or speed i have no clue on what im doing but if i get a little help i should be find someone please help me

Idk enough in IDA for that, or if its very convenient or possible to do it that way. It probably is if you could read ppc, but idk. Also it's probably different for other games. G_spawn is some COD iirc...even if you were searching for unlock all, youd probably be doing the same thing searching with netcheat, which is finding each offset for the things you want unlocked, then putting them altogether to make an unlock all function. or sometimes its money or something or a rank or level that unlocks something. You can either set the rank that unlocks whatever, or just set the whatever. (lol sorry hope that makes sense) you have to make it do all of that though and it's different for different games. I could be wrong maybe there is a magic function that does that within IDA, but idk..

You should probably start by looking into netcheat and debugger. Once you are familiar with finding offsets, you can just figure out what unlocks everything and mod it or make a mod to change current values so you can use it without actually having to unlock it..hope that makes sense..

Thank you that cleared a few things up so i need to look or everything i thought these unlock all were a mod in its own but ic its a hole lot mixed in might be a bit harder to do then i was hoping and may not ever finish this. but i might have a lot of extra free time on my hands soon only time will tell but if i get the time ill figure it out
