use aircrack and vmware and a linux

I believe its possible using aircrack and airsniff, it is very difficult to do though but just google it i'm sure there are a lot of tuts for cracking wep networks

In any case... just be sure to use backtrack you could boot it via a virtual machine, but you could just burn the DVD and use it as a boot cd.

People who has never used vmware could have hard time instaling the vm tools that are needed for the network driver.

If you do it using a boot cd. You only have to insert cd in the pc and boot with it. Everything is already installed in BT including aicrack ng airodump, and also several network card drivers.
