2. after installation choose ACTIVATE OVER INTERNET
3. after activation, CLOSE Office
4. start office
5. check the Help/About Tab for Activation status

IMPORTANT MESSAGE:

If you get any error message during the activation process such as "activation limit exceeded". Please check the "Office 2010 Toolkit" folder in the CD image. Thank you.
