03-09-2011, 08:42 PM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys, today I'm going to teach you how to make a shortcut to a url. Like Cpt. S's. I took these pics to teach you this. 1-2 Minutes Max

So first of all, as you see in the pic, open up notepad.
You must login or register to view this content.

Then type this code into note pad:

[InternetShortcut]
URL=yoursitehere.com

As seen in this pic:
You must login or register to view this content.

Then Fill in your info and click save as. Make sure it it SAVE AS TYPE: ALL Files.

As seen here: You must login or register to view this content.

Then for the name type .url

Finished screen should be this:
You must login or register to view this content.

Then all you have to do is click the icon on your desktop and It will take you to the page. Most big sites have icons, but if not, this is how you change it.

Right click your icon, then go to properties.

This is what you should see:
You must login or register to view this content.

Then just click change icon, and browse for your image.

If you found this helpful, be sure to post.

EDIT 1

New Shortcut on desktop
Paste the url into there
Done (this doesnt work on all OS)
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

Much more simpler way, Right click desktop > New > New shortcut, Copy paste URL into directory. Hit ok, Done Upside Down HappyClaps
