L0phtcrack/Cain is a CMD application(no GUI). It is a Windows password decrypting software. Keep in mind, with this program, brute forcing takes a while - roughly a week - of non stop cracking. There is really no "easy" method to do this, as the Windows Password is encrypted by MD5 (The same encryption associated with Credit Cards, and most all other security devices). Of course, you can go ahead and get a rainbow table, but make sure you have an extra couple terabytes of memory laying around for it.
Also, I'm assuming you do not have a very substantial computer knowledge. With this assumption, I would just say deal without the knowledge of your password. L0phtcrack/Cain is 'hard' to operate to say the least. Cain I believe is the GUI version, so you might have better and more consistent luck with that.
