Hello Guys and Welcome to an another Tutorial
in This Tutorial i will Teach you "How to Create your own Basic Forum"

So Lets Get Started!


Requirements



  • an Webhosting Account with FTP ( i Recommend You must login or register to view this content.)
  • The Files Click You must login or register to view this content.! (if the Link doesn't Work anymore Click You must login or register to view this content.!
  • Patient


Ok Were Going to the Next part: What you need to do!


What you need to do!



  1. Go to You must login or register to view this content.

  2. Login on your account

  3. You see your site Click on Go to Cpanel

  4. Click on View Account Details

  5. You see an Box with File upload Details ( Username,Host,Pass)

  6. Open up Filezilla and Type your Details from Step 5 (You don't need to fill in the Port!)
  7. When you have Typed it in click on connect
  8. When Your Connected you will see a Folder Called "public_html" Double Click on it
  9. Create a New Map Called "Forum" and double click on it
  10. Drop all the Files you have Downloaded in the "Forum" Map
  11. [Becareful] Open up Your Webbrowser goto: Yourwebsitename.co.cc/Forum ( in my Case it's .co.cc)
  12. When you There Click on the "Install" Tab and Click Proceed to the next step
  13. once you there Scroll down and Click on "Start Install"
  14. Change the Database Type to MYSQL and Type your Database details in again. (leave Prefix for tables in database the same)
  15. Proceed to Next step.
  16. Make your Own account
  17. And Your Done!
  18. BE SURE YOU DELETE THE INSTALL FOLDER IN FILEZILLA public_html\Forum

hey i do everything and all of it works but wen i reach to the last part were u put ur username and change it to MYSQL... ok well in that part everytime i press next step it shows this Could not connect to the database, see error message below.
Host '31.170.163.70' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server
..... what do i do nxt idk wats the next thing i should do.... all my previous steps are good because i followed your tut step by step accordingly to ur TUT

and can the database name be anything you want?

yea you can change the database name but your not admin which was a huge let down. But Also its pretty well organize just the admin stuff sucks over all i guess you can crack it and become admin instead of moderator on your own forum.
