Well, I don't know about you lot and school, but when I did, we had this RM tutor thing, which completely blocked all exe files excluding microsoft etc etc. MSI files where the same. The only file extention you could manipulate was xml, and that's pointless. Maybe it was just at my school. Anyway, nice share Happy

thanks Splatypus, i think this way of unblocking cmd is one of the best i have come up with and its much more useful then doing the command.com trick with notepad or saving it as .bat file.

Hey I got an error trying to do this. Any suggestions? "Could not access the RACC service. System Error message is: The specified service does not exist as an installed service." - The Error message.

it depends on what version you are using, you have to make sure you are using the right version of RAAC, if you try to use the 32 bit on a 64 bit system then it will not work with it. if that doesnt work then i will look into the problem and reupload the fixed versions once i fix it if i find the issue.

Thanks Smile Imma try this at school tomorrow. Also, the other 2 "methods" that I think might work for getting on blocked sites.

Wow. My school's blocking system looks nothing compared to yours. We have this client called "Novell". And what it did was it connects us to the school division's VPN where it filters the sites, and then connects to the internet. We're allowed to use .exe's and .bat's and even NotePad. Once I knew this method where you use this program called "Proxy Switcher" to bypass the school's VPN. But sadly the teachers found out what I did, and they blocked it. :(

not trying to get off topic here but at my high school the IT guys have a filter called Sonicwall and is owned by Dell since they just bought it from the companyso they own the rights now. its a pretty powerful filter and they have almost block every site you can think of. me and my friends have tried bypassing it but it doesnt work. i have found the only way to get on blocked sites is to use google translate, proxy sites which is mostly used. or proxy programs. Ultrasurf connect to the servers but i havent used it incase its blocked by the Sonicwall. i was in school today and i got access to every site with my laptop with using a mac spoofer to make a fake Mac address so they couldnt filter my real Mac address from the schools wifi. so if they found the Mac i was using then i could just use a new one Winky Winky. the program i was using is not even blocked by the IT guys and the Sonicwall couldnt even pick it up, i dont use it on school computers because mostly at every school they have remote access programs that watch your screen or teachers have software that can watch what your doing so you could easily get in trouble.

Wow my school must be decent then. There's another method too. Some guy was so stupid, he forgot to uninstall it, or he told friends and told other friends, blah blah blah and made the method very well saturated. So they patched it. The method was you download this browser called "Avant Browser". Idk how it bypassed it, but it worked. So yeah now it's patched. Some lucky computers don't have it as patched so if you find one, you're lucky. Also, our new graphics lab has some new iMacs that can bypass the blocks. And the new teacher didn't give a shit so you're lucky if you had 1 of those computers in graphics class. Anyway, I'll PM you the things that I'll try out tomorrow and tell you how it went. Smile

my school is ok, but iam in a class where we have connections to the IT Department so we can have anything from Iso's of Windows xp,Windows 7, antivirus software or anything else we can get our hands on. but if we need anything from we can easily get it from IT department no problem. the only thing we cant get is access to the servers or admin accounts for the school but we have permission to work on any of the systems in the school district.
