3rd person. You enter and clear a building, afterwards, you call in your men who take position.
You control the men by having them reload and target enemies which will keep you on your toes.
Enemies appear randomly with a randomized amount for each level for enemies of different difficulty levels
Say level 1 =
1-10 kids, 5-20 teens, 10-35 adults then add up the amount and subtract from level total enemies and have that as stronger enemies and then randomize which ones appear and where they appear randomly using Lists.
I'd need a formula to make each level more difficult while keeping the idea the same and slowly increases the enemy health so each play through is different, but the concept is good.
The view would be more of a sky view, which allows for better control of the multiple characters. Plus, because I can't draw for shit so a sky view helps when test programming by using squares as my texture.
Any ideas to this game, changes. I'm still learning XNA programming but when I'm done with this book, I'll know more than enough to develop a game like so.
