...Mate, you are not going to do this overnight. Most of the devs who work with this stuff have been tweaking around for a long time and understand what things means. They are not script kiddies, most of them are actually pretty damn brilliant in my opinion.

Learn a powerful language like C++. Buy 2-3 books on it and go cover to cover until you know it and then spend a couple of years writing on your own. Then, you should be at a level where you should be able to start taking code and working it backwards. Even then, good luck.

are they any free websites or books onine i could read on about C++ i would like to learn it to get a good idea of coding/programming

Send me a PM and I'll send you a great book on C++. It will teach you using Visual Studio but will teach you in a way that you can write programs for both Windows and Linux.

just go to school, this is one thing that not very many people can learn about online.
you can however go to online school. but reverse engineering is a thing that is best learned in college.

but i mean their are plenty of references online. google them.
but you can't really find any tutorial about it. at least not one good enough to learn quickly.
i repeat though this is not something you would want to learn by yourself you need a teacher as well as peers to share ideas and such.
