Post: Have a question concerning my broken audio jack

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So the audio jack for the front of my pc finally broke today as i seen the crack for several weeks but didnt think it would crack so it did i want to replace the female part for it or should i buy a cheap sound card? i can still hear out of it but i just want to fix it just bothers me knowing something is broke?

is it the front 1 or 1 on the mobo? if its the front 1 use the back 1 and dont buy a cheap sound card they suck.

Use the one on the motherboard. The built in sound card is much better :y:

You're not going to have much luck with the case port. It you still can hear out of it just be careful with it. Like what TokiiNz and I said, you are much better off using the one on the motherboard, rather than the one on the case itself.

What about getting a new sound card maybe from asus? something around $60 ive been saving for my new gpu so i can buy one of those for sure

dont get a cheap sound card, they normally are junk and if i got 1 i'd just go for a high end such as
