Post: Pc missing files/corrupted drivers help

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Windows could not start because the following file is missing
or corrupt:

<Windows roor>\system32\hal.dll.
Please re-install a cop of the above file


Id try to re-install windows but it says it cant because the d drive is corrupted

PLEASE HELP

Would also say that you need a new HDD.

Wipe the drive with Dban, then try to re-install OS.

you could just format the hdd from dos Winky Winky if that doesnt help then your drive may be dead, but since its a system file idk how that would impede you from installing windows again
