(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have a dell compac desktop. my friend accidentally formated everything on it. Each time i turn on my pc. it says "BOOTMGR is missing". i have the windows 7 installation for it but doesnt work. i also tried command prompt it(Bootrec /RebuildBcd) and etc.

If he formatted it then that means there shouldn't be an OS on the drive. So you probably will have to do a reinstall.
