(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi I am trying to use my headphones and earbuds on my laptop but there are no sounds coming out of them besides the laptop itself. When I plug in these headphones they don't set off a notification on my laptop saying that it's connected or what not to the playback option is pointless on that. I'm on Windows 10. It use to work a year ago but it stopped working out of no where. Also the headset I'm trying to connect is a Turtle Beach Px22 with just the headset part nothing else. I'm trying to use that and earbuds as regular headsets but my laptop isn't catching them.

Try installing the drivers for turtle beach?

Also have you another pair of headphones you can test?

If not the port might be busted.

To be honest if you have tried different headphones and still not working. It sounds like it could be the actual port that's damaged. Try taking it to a repair shop just maybe they can take a look at it? If it is the port might be an easy enough fix? Depends on the make and model I suppose.
