I have a laptop I purchased around 6 months ago brand new, its mainly for uni work and general browsing, but I'd like to be able to play causal CSGO with friends. I get an extremely low frame rater of around 14per/sec, which I dont think seems right as I have friends who also play on laptops, without dedicated graphics and get a significantly higher fps.

My laptop has dedicated graphics and specs as per below:

My graphics card is running at a very high temp, not sure how/if this would effect anything however.

511c jesus, there is your issue right there. Try upgrading the cpu as its 2ghz.

Try setting your CS-GO graphics to medium or low in the games video settings. That should give you more FPS. And if you are running un-needed programs in the background such as cleaners, anti-virus protection, iobit, and the GWX (Windows 10 Upgrade bullshit advertisement) right click your mouse and go to task manager and end a process that is eating up your ram. Also you might need to upgrade your graphics/drivers.
