Ping is the distance from the server?
So why does mine vary so much, at sometimes of the day it can be around 50ms but mostly its around 250ms, can anyone help me keep it at a low ms?
Any Suggestions?

Sometimes it depends on internet speeds, myne usually runs around 47-60, but if ive been downloading, and virgin throttles me, it goes up 900+
the only way i get around it is stop downloading, and reset the router. Seems to fool the isp.

I was wondering if the VoIp effects it? Usually I test it on my laptop.. when no-one else is on it.
