but i was wondering are the system requirments actually that important? im not gonna edit or anything on the laptop cos im gonna send it to my desktop pc, im just capturing it on the laptop...

i need a 100% sure answer

In your case yes, if you plan on doing any kind of recording it would completely crap on the processor in that laptop.

I think it needs 2-3 ghz proccesser and 1-2gb ram at least.

yes my laptop has 2.00GHz and 1.00GB RAM

yea, my laptop has most of the important system requirments apart from the dual core cpu

A one core 2.00ghz. Too slow mate

Sadly, out of those most important requirements, the one you dont have is the MOST crucial to smooth recording and playback.

yea but if wen i finish recording it and its laggy, im going to transfer it to another computer but will it still be laggy?

Graphics with 256MB memory (or greater)
Sound card
CD-ROM drive for installing the HD PVR software

It all depends honestly. In my mind I would figure that recording would be laggy, but if its just playback then transferring to another computer should be ok.
