What you need:
iPod Touch (any gen, any update version)/iPhone
Computer/Desktop
Internet connection.

Go onto your iPod/iPhone and go into the AppStore; type into the search bar 'TeamViewer' make sure you download the FREE version, unless you want to pay.

Go onto your computer/desktop and download TeamViewer from You must login or register to view this content.

Next, once downloaded TeamViewer onto your computer/desktop, click Run, press Allow, then go through the steps. You can either run it (which doesn't need administrator privileges) or you can install it properly, so you don't need to keep going through this process. I'll post a screenshot later to see what you should get.

After when you've done above, go back onto your iPod/iPhone, and type in the numbers you see as the username and password, hit connect, and wait for roughly 20 seconds. Now, you should be able to see & control your laptop/desktop from anywhere in range of your router!

I've tried this many times, and it's still pretty cool! Considering most of the other *free* apps are only for Macs. (as it's made by Apple). So if you're running windows, this is pretty neat!

team viewer is much better for quick support jobs, but vnc clients are the way to go if you want the best experience.
