(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I've just been wondering how can I create a list of all my films, video's, songs or pictures.

So after searching around I found a simple way how you can... But you have to change a couple of things in the text file once it save's... I'll explain.

Open notepad and paste this...

    dir /s *.* >list.txt

Now click save.

When it come's up to name it, Name it...

    listing.bat

But make sure the encoding is selected as ANSI

Now click save > Desktop.

So lets say your wanting to create a listing of all your songs?
Ok, Go to your desktop and copy the file you just created.
Now go to your music and paste it there.

Now double click on it, It'll open for a short second then close.
Now look in your music for a file called dirlist open that then there you go.

But remember it does also save the date and file size so you'll have to delete them then you'll have your list.
