PC hands down, anyone who chooses Mac is either braindead or an Apple fanboy (most likely both).

Viruses exist for Mac, wanna know how to secure your PC? Get a trusted antivirus & firewall program and it's just as secure, if not more secure, than a Mac. I don't see how they're better for school, I figured they'd be worse since they're more expensive on a limited student budget. And Macs may have decent power, but for a much higher price than a PC with a much higher computing power.

Well you know Im not going to flame you after this But Mac's are much more simplified. Mac barely ever gets viruses. Mac's can be expensive if they are too much then get one refurbished from Ebay. Mac's are even with Windows I am no fan boy because I am posting on a Win7 computer right now I preffer my Mac sometimes other I prefer my Win7
